FRIENDLY FOOD FIGHT!The Annandale Christian Community for Action (ACCA) is an alliance of 26 churches in the Annandale community and adjacent areas. The purpose is to unite all Christians of the community to promote and sponsor Christian social action. The guiding principle is “doing what Jesus would do.” Friendship UMC is committed to keep their pantry stock this winter!

To spark the interest and encourage the participation of as many of our church members as possible, this will be a fun competitive event. Starting TODAY each church member will join one of three teams and the Friendly Food Fight will begin. Team captains will give you a sticker with your team name as you enter or leave the church. ACCA is in great need of the items assigned to each team.

Each Sunday from January 27 – February 24 collection bins labeled with each team’s name will be available under the Bulletin board in the Narthex. Please drop your items in your team bin. Items can also be dropped off during the week. Team captains will count the items each week and post the total number of items on the Friendly Food Fight Score Board.
