Friendship is involved in a number of exciting ministries and outreach mission programs. There are opportunites for people in all walks of life to be active in the Friendship community.
Community Missions
Locally, we are involved in supporting many missions such as
Annandale Christian Community for Action (ACCA), which is a group of 26 churches who provide a range of services to the needy in Annandale, Lincolnia, Bailey's Crossroads and Culmore. ACCA accepts donations of food items, furniture and money to assist in providing ministries in:
Childcare and development
family emergency assistance
special food distributions/nutrition
holiday baskets
furniture/household essentials
transportation to medical appointments
Church members are encouraged to bring food items weekly (especially paper goods, detergent, hand soap, dry and canned goods and monetary donations which may be placed in the offering and earmarked "ACCA".

30 Hour Famine
The Youth help sponsor a 30 hour Famine Fund raiser which raises famine awareness amongst the youth & community as well as much needed funds.

Global Missions
Friendship Shelter
We have sent a recent mission team to India where a shelter was established to minister to the needs of homeless children.
