Invitation to walk. You are invited to walk with God in the labyrinth, a simple, yet profound way of prayer that intentionally offers silent reflection, meditative movement, and symbolic pondering of our spiritual longing to seek the center of life. As Christians we believe that center is Jesus Christ, hence our labyrinth space includes a cross.

What is a labyrinth? A labyrinth is a pattern that leads you on a prescribed path to a center. It is a single or unicircular path.  The path that leads you in is the same path that leads you out.

.

.

Why walk the labyrinth? The labyrinth literally reintroduces the experience of walking a clearly defined path. In the simple act of walking, the soul finds solace and peace. It can provide a space to listen for inner wisdom and gain new understandings about our spiritual journey. Walking the labyrinth is experiential and something best understood by doing it.

About our labyrinth. Our labyrinth was developed as a Eagle Scout project by one of our church members, Elias Yannopoulos. It is based upon the classical labyrinth which is a common form used in Christian practice. The labyrinth is located across from our main entrance in the wooded area.
