Music Ministries @ Friendship
Friendship is blessed with a wonderful music ministry. Many have discovered the spiritual fulfillment of serving God with their talents, expressing His love to others, and being in fellowship with people who share these goals. Lasting friendships form when members laugh, cry, celebrate and pray with each other. We would love to have any and all who wish to share these great experiences with us!
Soloists and small ensembles share their talents during the summer months when the choir is on hiatus. Instrumentalists have many opportunities to not "hide their talents under a basket".
Sanctuary Choir
The Sanctuary Choir consists of high school students and adults. This choir meets on Thursdays for rehearsal and assists at Sunday's worship with anthems and service music. Special cantatas are prepared for Christmas and Easter as well as opportunities for other special music events.
Glory Bells
The handbell choir meets weekly to rehearse and plays at the worship service every other month and on special holidays. If this m inistry "appeals" to you, we'd like to encourage you to speak with the Director of Music.
Children's Choir
The Children's music program meets on Sunday mornings as part of the Praise Kids program and performs periodically throughout the year.
